Yep...these are created from zippers!  Check out Apostrophy on Etsy.

a good one for you...

I recently watched That Darn Cat while babysitting my younger siblings.  I've seen it several times before but I didn't remember it being so entertaining!  If you watch it, pay attention to the outfits Hayley Mills wears.  They're very cute and classy! :)

vintage.

Check out these tips that Christa Taylor posted on her blog on wearing vintage pieces.  Vintage clothing has been catching my eye lately! :)  Enjoy.

Don’t: Be afraid of the frumpy pieces. Pinch your nose and give the old-lady section of your local second-hand store a good look: Some of those tweedy two-piece suits can be fashion gold. The trick is not to wear the librarian-worthy skirt and jacket together.
Do: Separate a vintage suit to get two killer combos. When headed into the office, a pleated skirt paired with a button-down and boots will make you look cool, classic and totally hip. Then at night, DO slip a fitted blazer over a tee and jeans for an uptown style.

vintage look

Please check out Christa Taylor sometime!  She has a clothing line that produces modest but fashionable clothes.  On her site she has a blog with beauty tips and ideas on fashion.  I find her stuff extremely helpful!  Here's what she had posted this week:

Do:
-Pair an embroidered shirt, or any shirt with texture, with  an floral print skirt for a magpie-chic look.
-Play with colors. Just because the sample is shown wearing earth tones, doesn’t mean you couldn’t do the same with a bright blouse and skirt.
-Layer on a scarf and hat to keep warm.
-Wear flats. Ballet flats, flat boots, anything flat.
-Throw in some jewelry. A cuff, ribbon choker, layered necklaces would all pair well with this look.
